Dive Guide/Divemaster

SSI Divemaster is the professional program that transforms an advanced recreational diver into a dive leader. This course also includes specific Dive Guide skills, so that at the end you are prepared to lead dives for certified divers and work effectively in a dive center.

During the program you develop solid skills in:

• planning and organizing dives according to conditions, depth and group profile;

• professional, clear and safety-oriented briefing and debriefing ;

• underwater guidance , orientation and navigation in various environments;

• group management (positioning, rhythm, air consumption, communication);

• preventing incidents and intervening in emergency situations , with control and calm;

• equipment logistics and operational support for the center's daily activities;

• improving personal techniques (buoyancy, consumption, standard procedures).

The SSI Divemaster certification gives you international professional status, access to roles in dive centers and liveaboards, and is the mandatory basis for continuing to Instructor .
