Duration: 1 day (theoretical session + practical exercise)

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) course teaches you to dive safely using air enriched with oxygen (up to 40%). You will understand the advantages of Nitrox over compressed air and how to use it correctly for longer bottom time and shorter surface breaks .

What you will learn in the Enriched Air Nitrox course:

• the advantages of using Nitrox over compressed air
• calculating the maximum operating depth (MOD)
• mixture analysis with O₂ analyzer
• correct dive computer setting
• Nitrox specific risk management

How the course is conducted:

• theoretical session (in class or online, on the MySSI platform )
• practical cylinder analysis exercise
• final exam
