Powerful, reliable, and simple—the BX2 is everything a top-of-the-line dive light should be. The BX2 packs the latest LED technology into a solid, sleek body. The CREE XP-L High Intensity LED and smooth reflector produce a focused 4° beam ideal for signaling or exploring under rocks, while providing a wide halo of light that illuminates the surrounding area.
The flashlight is designed with mounting holes in the body for full compatibility with Dive Rite QRM accessories (it uses the same hole spacing as Dive Rite canister light heads, so the standard QRM striker and receiver can be used). The QRM soft hand mount can be added to transform the BX2 into a mini main flashlight or QRM receiver on your helmet for one-handed operation. With the optional video speaker, the BX2 becomes the ideal companion for your action camera.
The compact body has a "grenade" design for a secure grip even with gloves. Thick walls increase strength and durability. Twist-on activation, hard-anodized aluminum body, double O-ring, and depth-resistant to 492 ft (150 m).
The included lanyard keeps the flashlight within reach, and the serrated-edge cap allows the flashlight to stand upright during outfitting in the dark.
The flashlight is powered by a single high-capacity Li-Ion 18650 battery (3400 mAh) with built-in charger included, USB-A to micro-USB cable, no need for an external charger. The battery is easy to change, and replacement 18650 batteries are widely available. The direct drive system provides over an hour of maximum light, then gradually decreases for over 2 hours as the battery drains.
