The SSI Open Water Diver is the foundation course for those who want to become internationally recognized certified scuba divers . The course provides you with all the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to dive safely, up to 18 meters deep .

Training is conducted by certified SSI instructors, in a controlled environment, with an emphasis on safety, comfort and individual progress.

What you will learn in the Open Water course:

• correct use of diving equipment
• breathing and buoyancy techniques
• safety rules and dive planning
• basic procedures in unforeseen situations

How the course is conducted:

• theory (online, via the MySSI platform)
• training in the pool (Otopeni Olympic Pool)
• open water diving (Trqz Lake / Black Sea)
