At the heart of the Planet 88X TBP is Airmatic Technology – a revolutionary pneumatic system that reduces mechanical components and maximizes reliability. Unlike conventional regulators, this second stage has no springs to wear out; it uses intermediate pressure to control airflow, resulting in natural, resistance-free breathing.

With Mares' signature VAD – Vortex Assisted Design technology, the airflow remains strong, direct and responsive to the diver's demand – whether in shallow water or deep, cold wrecks.

• Natural DFC on all LP ports for maximum air delivery to the second floor
• 4 LP ports on rotating turret

• OPV – Overpressure Valve – ensures uninterrupted operation in the rare event of an increase in intermediate pressure
