TUSA Active Purge Assist (APA) is a revolutionary accessory technology for TUSA BCJ buoyancy compensators, designed to provide fast, precise and efficient buoyancy control. This pneumatically assisted purge system , combined with a newly designed OPEV (Over Pressure Exhaust Valve) , delivers significantly higher flow rates compared to a standard inflator.

Thanks to its immediate response to user commands , APA allows for almost instantaneous deflation and inflation, contributing to perfectly controlled buoyancy in any situation. The compact and aerodynamic design reduces drag and equipment bulk, improving comfort in the water.

The system can be mounted in two different positions – over the shoulder or under the arm – and offers three distinct purge methods , making TUSA APA one of the most advanced buoyancy control solutions available on the market.
