Waves, Tides & Currents

The SSI Waves, Tides & Currents course (1 day) prepares you to dive safely in dynamic environmental conditions: waves, currents and tides. You will learn how these phenomena form, how they influence your dive entry/exit and underwater, how to plan dives based on forecasts and tide tables, and how to manage drift dives. The course includes MySSI/classroom theory and at least one practical dive , with exercises in drifting, positioning and using the DSMB.
Requirements: min. 10 years, SSI Open Water Diver (or equivalent). SSI international certification.
